Se fortalece BCS como destino turístico a nivel nacional

Con el objetivo de promover e incrementar el flujo de turistas nacionales, principalmente de los destinos de Tijuana y Guadalajara, la Secretaría de Turismo, a través del Fideicomiso de Turismo Estatal (FITUES), realizó el evento de promoción turística “Presencia de Baja California Sur” dirigido a touroperadores mayoristas, minoristas, agencias de viajes y medios de comunicación, informó el director del FITUES, Jesús Ordoñez.
El funcionario, comentó que, durante este evento, representantes de los Fideicomisos de Turismo de cada municipio del Estado, así como hoteleros de Los Cabos, La Paz y Loreto, interactuaron con más de 130 agentes de viajes con presencia en los mercados de Tijuana y Guadalajara, a fin de establecer alianzas comerciales que contribuyan al fomento del turismo nacional.
Por lo que comentó se resaltaron los atractivos, gastronomía, calendario de actividades y oferta turística con la que cuenta Baja California Sur durante todo el año, además de los eventos deportivos de clase internacional como el Abierto Mexicano de Tenis, a celebrarse en julio próximo, o el maratón Los Cabos, así como buceo, pesca deportiva, golf, avistamiento de ballenas y aves, y por supuesto de playa.
“Las Presencias son un gran formato de promoción para los hoteles, operadoras, aerolíneas y transbordadores de Baja California Sur, pues permite capacitar e informar a los agentes de viajes sobre la oferta de cada uno de los destinos turísticos de la entidad para la temporada de verano”, mencionó Jesús Ordóñez.
Para finalizar, el director del FITUES reconoció el esfuerzo conjunto de todos los fideicomisos y los empresarios turísticos, para diseñar las estrategias de promoción que se han venido dando desde el inicio de la administración, mismas que dijo, han permitido aprovechar las ventajas competitivas de la entidad impulsando a este sector.
