La Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado informa que el miércoles 12 del mes y año en curso, se celebró en el Centro de Justicia Penal de La Paz, bajo las reglas del Código Nacional de Procedimientos Penales, audiencia en la que el agente del Ministerio Público del Fuero Común adscrito a la Unidad Especializada en Investigación de Delitos con Motivo de Tránsito de Vehículos y su Judicialización, aportó datos de prueba que permitieron al Juez de Control vincular a Proceso y establecer medidas cautelares en contra de una persona del sexo masculino a quien se relacionó como imputado en una carpeta de investigación, por hechos que la Ley señala como delito de homicidio en su modalidad de culposos.
El ilícito tuvo lugar el 10 de abril, en la calle lateral de la carretera a Los Planes, entre las calles Bugambilia y Maravilla de esta ciudad, el imputado, que operaba un camión de carga, atropelló a la víctima causándole lesiones que ocasionaron su muerte.
En la audiencia, el Juez de Control vinculó a proceso al imputado, determinó medidas que le obligan a firma quincenal. Otorgó un plazo de 4 meses para la investigación complementaria.
La Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado realiza investigaciones profesionales, científicas y jurídicas, para atender el mandato de Ley y la instrucción del Titular del Ejecutivo de Baja California Sur, de realizar acciones que den certeza al estado de derecho y, en los hechos, poner a las personas que trasgredan el orden jurídico a disposición de la autoridad correspondiente, con respeto a sus derechos humanos.
