Próxima a realizarse esterilización de mascotas en Loreto y Comundú

Con el objetivo de lograr avances en el control de la reproducción de mascotas en la entidad y con ello evitar que incremente el número de animales domésticos en situación de calle, la SSA de BCS, a través de la Jurisdicción Sanitaria 01 desarrollará del 18 al 24 de junio una campaña de esterilización canina y felina en comunidades de Loreto y Comondú.
Estas acciones que iniciarán este domingo en la cabecera municipal de Loreto, buscan mejorar resultados en la tarea de estabilizar el crecimiento de la población canina y felina en estos municipios, indicó el jefe de la Jurisdicción Sanitaria 01, Alejandro Félix Álvarez al destacar el apoyo que asociaciones civiles como Animalandia brindan para el desarrollo de esta campaña.
Este tipo de campaña da la oportunidad de promover comportamientos responsable entre los ciudadanos que son propietarios de mascotas, con la perspectiva de que la sociedad logre disminuir el número de perros y gatos callejeros, estableció Félix Álvarez al subrayar que las esterilizaciones son completamente gratuitas.
Entre los requerimientos establecidos para desarrollar estos procedimientos figura que las mascotas sean mayores de tres meses, que se encuentren sanos, limpios, que no se encuentren en celo o embarazadas y que sean llevados con un ayuno mínimo de 8 a 12 horas, comentó.
Esta esterilización canina y felina se desarrollará del 18 al 20 de junio en las instalaciones de Animalandia en la cabecera municipal de Loreto; el miércoles 21 en la plaza de la delegación municipal de Ciudad Insurgentes; el jueves 22 en el salón cívico de Puerto San Carlos, mientras que el 23 y 24 se realizarán estos procedimientos en la plaza Emiliano Zapata de Ciudad Constitución.
Las mascotas serán recibidas de 8:30 am a 12 horas o hasta acumular un total de 80 animales de compañía por jornada, y se permitirán un máximo de dos mascotas por familia, por día, para dar fluidez en la atención a los usuarios de servicios puntualizó el jefe de la Jurisdicción Sanitaria 01.
