Se manifiestan reporteros en el Congreso del Estado tras el homicidio de compañero

Esta mañana La Asociación de Reporteros Sudcalifornianos (ARSAC) se manifestó de manera pacífica en la sesión ordinaria del Congreso del Estado, tras el homicidio del reportero Maximino Rodriguez Palacios o mejor conocido como Max Rodriguez el pasado viernes 14 de abril en el estacionamiento público de la tienda City Club.
Vestidos en color blanco y con cubre bocas, la manifestación inició alrededor de las 11 horas en plena sesión en la sala Jose Maria Morelos y Pavón, donde la Presidenta Aracely Hernandez expresó a nombre de reporteros que se buscará que los hechos sean esclarecidos por parte de las autoridades estatales, así mismo se busca la protección a reporteros principalmente aquellos que cubren la fuente policiaca, “el gremio periodístico esta de luto ante el asesinato artero de nuestro compañero Max Rodriguez, esta manifestación es pacifica queremos medias de seguridad y protección para reporteros policiacos”.
Buscando las garantias de poder ejercer el trabajo y sin ninguna repercusión, la ARSAC buscará entregar documentación al poder legislativo con el fin de evitar que BCS sufra lo que vive el resto del país, buscando ser participes en la Ley de Proteccion a personas defensoras de los derechos humanos y a periodistas de BCS.
Por su parte Diputados condenaron los hechos y aseguran que el homicidio es considerado un golpe a la libertad de expresión “condenamos la violencia que busca callar las voces de quienes tienen la tarea de informarnos de los alcances de BCS”, expreso la Diputada del Partido Acción Nacional Maritza Muñoz Vargas.
El Presidente de la Junta de Gobierno y Coordinación Política Joel Vargas anuncio que será en los próximos días cuando se presente ante el pleno legislativo la iniciativa de proyecto de decreto de la Ley para la Protección a personas defensoras de los derechos humanos ya periodistas de la entidad.
Como parte de la manifestación un sector del gremio periodístico dio la vuelta a toda la sesión ordinaria con pancartas en mano y cubre bocas a manera de protesta.
