50 vehículos de evento de Off Road “BAJAXL 2021” fueron retenidos en Mulegé

“En Baja California Sur, se deben de respetar los criterios establecidos en el Comité Estatal de Seguridad en Salud, para prevenir la propagación del virus COVID-19”, así lo mencionó Carlos Alfredo Godínez León, subsecretario de Protección Civil en la entidad, luego de que se llevará a cabo operativo conjunto con autoridades de los tres órdenes de gobierno en el municipio de Mulegé, para suspender el evento automovilístico tipo Off Road denominado “BajaXL 2021”.
En este sentido, mencionó que, estas actividades están consideradas como no esenciales dentro del nivel 5 del semáforo de alerta sanitaria implementado por el Comité estatal, ya que ponen en riesgo la salud de las personas de manera deliberada, por lo que, este tipo de eventos están suspendidos en la entidad hasta que el semáforo COVID-19, baje su nivel de riesgo, apuntó.
“Desde que se tuvo conocimiento acerca de su realización, se implementó un operativo de manera coordinada con los tres niveles de gobierno, para lograr la ubicación y retención de 50 vehículos, mismos que fueron localizados en San Ignacio y Guerrero Negro, para posteriormente ser devueltos a sus lugares de origen, siendo escoltados hasta los límites de nuestro estado con los de Baja California”, agregó.
Godínez León, agradeció la participación y el apoyo de la Guardia Nacional División Carreteras, Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA), Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado (PGJE), Policía Estatal y Municipal, Comisión Estatal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios (COEPRIS), Grupo Voluntario de Bomberos y Protección Civil de San Ignacio y Guerrero Negro.
Así como el personal de enlace de la Subsecretaría de Protección Civil de BCS, a quienes correspondió coordinar las acciones implementadas en este operativo, desde el momento de la detención del primer vehículo, la información relativa a la prohibición de este tipo de actividades en la entidad y por último el acompañamiento de San Ignacio hasta el paralelo 28, indicó.
