Los actos en contra del Presidente de la CEDH no quedarán impunes señala Carlos Mendoza

El día de hoy un grupo de sicarios ejecutaron un acto de barbarie que segó la vida del presidente de la Comisión Estatal de los Derechos Humanos en Baja California Sur (CEDH), Silvestre de La Toba Camacho y de su hijo Fernando de La Toba Lucero.
En el atentado resultó también lesionada la esposa del titular de la CEDH, Silvia Lucero y su hija, Silvia de La Toba.
Este acto indigna a la sociedad sudcaliforniana.
Desde el momento en que recibimos las primeras informaciones sobre este cobarde hecho, ordené se activaran todos los protocolos de seguridad para dar a la brevedad con los responsables.
Asimismo, me comuniqué con el Presidente de la Comisión Nacional de Derechos Humanos, Luis Raúl González Pérez, para informarle de los hechos, expresarle nuestra solidaridad y comprometer una investigación eficiente y expedita. Le refrendé que se dará debida protección a los familiares y que mantendremos informada a la Comisión sobre el avance que se obtenga.
Expreso mis condolencias a la familia de La Toba Lucero.
Este acto no quedará impune, castigaremos de manera ejemplar a quienes atentaron contra la vida de un sudcaliforniano honesto, respetado y contra su familia.
El crimen no nos doblegará. Activaremos todos los mecanismos que estén a nuestro alcance para reforzar la seguridad de la población.
