El XV Ayuntamiento a través del Instituto Municipal de Cultura da a conocer el programa general del 483 Aniversario de Fundación de La Paz, a realizarse del 3 al 5 de mayo.
Se proyectan diversas actividades culturales como concursos, recitales, presentaciones, conciertos, entre otras, en el kiosco del malecón, donde se ubicará el foro principal de la celebración. Siendo un ejemplo, el Festival Sudcaliforniano de la Canción, el Octavo Festival Gastronómico encabezado por CANIRAC, entre otros.
El día 3 de mayo por la tarde, previo a la coronación de Nicole Aguirre, Reina Calafia 2018, se escenificará el Desembarco de Hernán Cortés en la Bahía de La Paz, espectáculo que podrán disfrutar las familias paceñas en la playa anexa a la explanada del malecón.
Finalmente, el programa artístico contará con la participación del cantante Nicho Hinojosa, la extraordinaria cantante Lila Downs y en el 8vo Festival Gastronómico el concierto de Paty Cantú, este último se realizará el día 4 de mayo.
Los diferentes departamentos que conforman el Instituto Municipal de Cultura como son Festivales, Acción Cívica, Bibliotecas Públicas, Públicos Específicos, Proyectos Culturales, Difusión y Diseño, se encuentran involucrados en todo lo que conlleva la planeación de la importante celebración para la ciudad de La Paz.
