A través de DIF Los Cabos, apoyos funcionales llegan a familias de la Zona Rural

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS).– “¡Mi esposo no camina, así que estoy muy agradecida por el apoyo! Las personas del DIF nos atienden muy bien, cada problema que tenemos recurrimos a ellos”, expresó la ciudadana María de Jesús Avilés Castro, tras ser beneficiada con la donación de una de las sillas de ruedas que fueron entregadas en el último recorrido que realizó personal del Sistema DIF Los Cabos por la zona rural.
Durante la jornada, la presidenta del Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, Prof. Rosa Montaño Castro, agradeció a la representante de la fundación ORSAN, Carolina Monjardín Chu, por la donación de 30 sillas de ruedas; asimismo, detalló que como dependencia gubernamental se dan a la tarea de acercar dichos apoyos funcionales a las personas que tienen una discapacidad motriz o bien a los adultos mayores, buscando otorgar una herramienta que les permita desplazarse de un lugar a otro con más facilidad.
Cabe destacar que en este recorrido, se entregaron 18 sillas de ruedas: 6 en la delegación de Miraflores, 6 en la delegación de Santiago y 6 en la delegación de La Ribera.
Para concluir su participación, Montaño Castro recalcó que continuarán haciendo alianza con empresas socialmente responsables, con el objetivo de llevar un beneficio a las familias más vulnerables; dpor último detalló que en próximos días se hará otra entrega de sillas de ruedas en las instalaciones de DIF Cabo San Lucas y en las oficinas de San José del Cabo.
Por su parte, Carolina Monjardín Chu recalcó que la donación de las 30 sillas de ruedas al Sistema DIF Los Cabos, fue posible gracias a un torneo de pesca con causa que realiza anualmente la fundación, para dejar un beneficio a la población.
