A través del curso “Piñatas Navideñas”, el Gobierno de Los Cabos promueve el uso de material reciclado

Los Cabos, B.C.S., 03 Dic.- Con la finalidad de darle un uso alternativo a los materiales que son desechados por la comunidad, el Gobierno de Los Cabos que preside Oscar Leggs Castro, a través de la Coordinación de Servicios Públicos en Cabo San Lucas promueve el uso de material reciclado, por medio de cursos de elaboración de piñatas navideñas que se imparten en las colonias de la delegación.
Al respecto, la coordinadora de Cultura Ambiental de Servicios Públicos, Isabel Alvarado Cota, explicó que el proyecto tiene como objetivo que la ciudadanía aprenda un oficio productivo y pueda tener un beneficio económico con la venta de piñatas elaboradas con cartón y periódico reciclado; asimismo, detalló que hasta el momento han participado más de 110 mujeres en 12 colonias en Cabo San Lucas: Lagunitas, Real Unidad, Los Venados, Cabo Fierro, Lomas del Valle, Miranda, Azteca, Ciruelos, Chula Vista, Palma Homex, Mezquite y Altamira.
Para finalizar, Isabel Alvarado destacó que en este mes de diciembre cierra el curso, sin embargo, a partir de enero del 2022 se retomarán las actividades en diferentes colonias de la ciudad. Por último, puntualizó la importancia del reciclaje ya que a partir de un material se pueden elaborar diversos productos y se evita la generación de más basura.
