Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS).- Con el principal objetivo de proteger la vida de toda la ciudadanía, el Consejo Municipal de Protección Civil, encabezado por la presidenta municipal de Los Cabos Armida Castro Guzmán, contempla el pronóstico de lluvias para los próximos días y el peligro que representa para la población asentada en zonas de riesgo.
“Lo que vivimos la semana pasada fue un proceso nuevo, pero afortunadamente un reto que nos permitió como Administración y equipo de trabajo dar el resultado esperado en el tema de Protección Civil al hacer un llamado importante a la ciudadanía de resguardarse en un refugios seguros”, expresó la alcaldesa.
En ese sentido, la edil cabeña, aseguró que actualmente son condiciones diferentes a las que se vivieron la semana pasada, porque el terreno está reblandecido, húmedo y si cae agua va a ser muy corto el tiempo en el que como autoridades, puedan sacar a las familias y llevarlas a los albergues del Plan A, que se habilitarán si así lo recomienda y decide el Consejo Estatal de Protección Civil en la siguiente sesión, donde valorarán el último pronóstico que llegue a través de Protección Civil Nacional.
“Queremos garantizar que en cada una de las tormentas que nos toquen hacer frente digamos saldo blanco; lo más importante, es proteger la vida de toda la ciudadanía y en este momento, proteger la vida y mantenerlos sanos es el reto, así que Protección Civil somos todos. El exhorto se hará si así lo recomiendan los tres órdenes de Gobierno”, concluyó la presidenta municipal Armida Castro.
