Ambulancia aérea de BCS ha brindado atención a 67 pacientes en condiciones críticas

Mediante el uso de la ambulancia aérea que adquirió la actual administración estatal, se ha realizado el traslado de un total de 67 de pacientes que por encontrarse en condiciones críticas necesitaban ser ingresados a unidades hospitalarias con mayor capacidad de resolución, a fin de recibir atenciones especializadas en el menor tiempo posible.
Esta unidad que fue entregada por el Gobierno del Estado a la Secretaría de Salud en noviembre de 2016 ha estado al servicio de las y los sudcalifornianos, independientemente de su derechohabiencia, ya que del total de traslados, donde 33 se hicieron en beneficio de personas con cobertura de IMSS, ocho de ISSSTE, uno de SEDENA y el restante de gente sin seguridad social, quienes tuvieron con esto la oportunidad de recibir intervenciones médicas más oportunas, dijo el titular del ramo, Víctor George Flores.
Este vehículo que mantiene su funcionamiento en esta pandemia, equipado con material para proteger de contagios por COVID-19 tanto a la tripulación y los trabajadores de salud que efectúan los traslados, como a los pacientes, lo que ha permitido realizar el desplazamiento de personas que enfrentan una emergencia de gravedad y que están en condiciones estables para volar y ser llevadas a centros hospitalarios que cuenten con unidades intensivas.
“En este quinto año de labores se ha continuado con la movilización de enfermos en esta ambulancia aérea, que reduce el tiempo de acceso a servicios terapéuticos que pueden marcar la diferencia entre vivir y no hacerlo”, recordó el Secretario, al recordar que esta aeronave está equipada con instrumentos de soporte vital como es oxímetro de pulso, ventilador volumétrico, aspirador portátil, monitor con desfibrilador bifásico y marcapaso, entre otros dispositivos necesarios para desplazar a enfermos graves.
Finalmente, George Flores reiteró que, la adquisición de esta ambulancia aérea y las medidas implementadas para garantizar su adecuado funcionamiento para una respuesta inmediata, es un reflejo de las acciones emprendidas por esta administración estatal para proteger la salud y la vida de los sudcalifornianos, puntualizó.
