Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS).– OOMSAPAS Los Cabos mantiene vigente el reparto de agua potable en pipas para poder atender la demanda que hay del vital líquido, sobre todo, cuando por causa de fenómenos meteorológicos se retrasa el tandeo en las colonias, así lo informó el gerente del Organismo Operador Municipal en la delegación de Cabo San Lucas, Francisco Galicia López.
De igual forma, expuso que son más de 500 mil litros de agua potable los que se reparten a diario en camiones cisternas, -pipas-, principalmente a los usuarios que tienen atrasos por el tandeo en sus hogares y en aquellas colonias que aún no cuentan con red de agua potable.
El gerente Francisco Galicia mencionó que el pozo 4 se encuentra funcionando con normalidad y es de ahí en donde se abastecen las pipas que son rentadas por el Organismo para enviar agua a las colonias, así como las que son propiedad de OOMSAPAS y las pipas que pertenecen a instituciones públicas como La Marina, Ejército Mexicano, y el H. Cuerpo de Bomberos, entre otros.
Por último, el gerente de OOMSAPAS en Cabo San Lucas dijo que el apoyo de agua en pipas va a continuar por tiempo indefinido, pues ha sido la instrucción de la alcaldesa Armida Castro Guzmán para poder atender la demanda de agua potable que hay en el municipio.
