Anuncian la celebración del Torneo de Pesca Deportiva “Pescando en La Paz”

Se celebrará el 9 y 10 de julio, con una bolsa garantizada de un millón de pesos
Con gran entusiasmo fue anunciada la celebración del Torneo de Pesca Deportiva denominado “Pescando en La Paz”, que tendrá lugar el 9 y 10 de julio, con una bolsa garantizada de un millón de pesos, atractivo evento organizado de forma conjunta por el Ayuntamiento de La Paz y el Fondo para la Protección de los Recursos Marinos (FONMAR), serial que se estará desarrollando en honor del reconocido promotor de la pesca deportiva en Baja California Sur, Clicerio Mercado.
Lo anterior fue dado a conocer en rueda de prensa encabezada por el secretario General, Pavel Castro Cosío en representación de la Presidenta Municipal, Milena Quiroga Romero acompañado de la directora de Turismo Municipal, Natalia Ruffo quien expresó “estamos aquí en su representación (Alcaldesa) para darles una excelente noticia, ella está muy contenta y feliz de poder tener en La Paz en la capital del Estado, la primera fecha del serial, en la que se estarán recibiendo a un buen número de pescadores que van por estos atractivos premios”.
Los organizadores dieron a conocer que el pez dorado será la especie a capturar durante el torneo, con premios de 400 mil, 300 mil y 200 mil pesos, para los primeros tres lugares, respectivamente. Además de dos premios de 50 mil pesos en la modalidad de pesca de liberación “catch and release” de marlín.
Las preinscripciones estarán abiertas a partir del 17 de junio a través de la página del FONMAR www.fomar.gob.mx teniendo un costo de 5 mil pesos por equipo, el registro oficial será el 9 de julio de 12 a 19 horas, en el Kiosco del Malecón.
Finalmente, el Secretario General Municipal destacó que la realización de este torneo impulsará a La Paz como un destino para la práctica de la pesca deportiva, además de traer una importante derrama económica en los servicios durante los días de su celebración, esperando a un buen número de visitantes.
