No hay defunciones por Dengue confirma la Secretaria de Salud

La Secretaria de Salud en BCS, reconoce que desde 2013 no se han detenido las acciones para combatir el problema del dengue en la entidad así lo informó Virgilio Jiménez Patiño, Secretario de Salud.
Según las evaluaciones que se han estado realizando, los casos de dengue se han evaluado antes durante y después del Huracán Odile.
Antes de las lluvias de este año había tan solo 224 casos de la enfermedad, durante ellas el brote aumento a mil 111 y pasando la contingencia de Odile, la cifra se elevó considerablemente a 2 mil 680 casos de dengue confirmados.
La institución estimó que si las acciones de vigilancia epidemiológica no se hubieran aplicado de manera formal, el brote se hubiera disparado a casi los 20 mil casos de dengue con varias defunciones.
Jiménez Patiño confirmo que las actas de defunción no se manipulan por lo cual hasta hoy no hay muertes por dengue en BCS.
A la fecha confirman no se han registrado muertes por dengue, y las cifras no deben alarmar a la población pues el brote está controlado.
Para lograr contener el padecimiento fue necesario que llegara equipo de Guanajuato, Nayarit, Guerrero, BC, Ciudad de México, los cuales apoyaron en fumigación aérea y pedestre, con insecticida y larbisida.
Las cifras actuales de la Secretaria de Salud son: un total de 2 mil 680 casos de dengue de los cuales 77 son hemorrágicos y 2 mil 603 por fiebre por dengue.
Con corte al 21 de octubre del 2014 por municipios el dengue se ha presentado de la siguiente manera: Los Cabos con 315 casos, la Paz con mil 850 casos, comondu 370, Loreto con 69 y Mulege con 76 casos confirmados.
Quien se encarga de verificar que existe una muerte por dengue en BCS es el comité de Mortalidad Nacional el cual no ha determinado ninguna defunción por la enfermedad
