Piden que se resuelva conflicto laboral en Minera El Boleo

Diputadas y diputados de la XVI Legislatura de Baja California Sur se pronunciaron por una pronta solución al conflicto laboral en la Minera El Boleo en Santa Rosalía, municipio de Mulegé, así como que el Gobierno Federal continúe con la intervención, se investigue, y si se llegase acreditar que la empresa falseó información y por ende hubiese violentado la ley, se inicie el procedimiento para expropiar dicha empresa minera.
Durante la sesión de la diputación permanente y ante trabajadores de la Sección 329 del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores Mineros, Metalúrgicos, Siderúrgicos y Similares de la República Mexicana, la diputada María Guadalupe Moreno Higuera (Morena) reprobó el intento de amedrentamiento al estado de huelga, derecho de los trabajadores a manifestarse, “es reprobable y alarmante, ya que es sabida la extensa lucha social de la que han sido parte las y los agremiados del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores Mineros, en Santa Rosalía”, expresó en tribuna.
Afirmó que es de vital importancia que la Administración Pública local, el Ejecutivo Estatal, y el propio Gobierno Federal tomen parte en este asunto trascendental para el correcto desarrollo de la sociedad mulegina y sudcaliforniana, ya que el estallamiento a huelga afecta alrededor de mil 700 trabajadores de base y de confianza, que representan cerca del 15% del empleo generado en todo el municipio de Mulegé.
Mientras que el diputado Luis Armando Díaz (PT) lamentó la postura de puertas cerradas tomado por la Metalúrgica El Boleo, ante la demanda de los derechos de los trabajadores y que se ha negado a reconocer a casi dos semanas de haberse detenido las operaciones; Denunció que el salario y prestaciones que reciben los trabajadores de la minera son muchos menores a los que por ejemplo reciben en su país los trabajadores coreanos.
El Coordinador de la Fracción del PT hizo un llamado a la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, de Economía y del Trabajo para que hagan llegar información al Poder Legislativo para tener la certeza de la falta de capacidad económica que aduce la empresa en cuanto a la pérdida de los 1400 millones de dólares y de la imposibilidad de cumplir con un incremento salarial legal y digno así como un reparto de utilidades justo y equitativo para los trabajadores.
De igual manera hizo un llamado al Presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador para que una vez que se investigue por las secretarías y se llegase acreditar que la empresa que está falseando información y con ello violando la ley, se inicia el procedimiento para expropiar dicha empresa buscando con ello se fomente conserve la explotación de la mina.
Ambos legisladores y a nombre de integrantes de la legislatura se solidarizaron con las y los sindicalistas de la Sección 329 en Santa Rosalía, y desde la tribuna se comprometieron a ser voceros de sus peticiones para mantener un municipio de Mulegé fuerte y progresista, por la defensa de sus recursos naturales y de los derechos de los trabajadores de este sector.
