Baja California Sur, ocupa el cuarto lugar nacional en generación de empleos formales
Se han recuperado más del 57.7 por ciento de los empleos perdidos por la contingencia sanitaria
En Baja California Sur, la creación de empleos formales avanza favorablemente, con base en la información del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro social (IMSS), se tiene que durante el pasado mes de mayo se crearon 4 mil 469 nuevos puestos de trabajo, lo que representa un incremento promedio anual del 8.7 por ciento, que ubica a la entidad en el cuarto lugar nacional en este rubro, informó Tomas Flores Gameros, titular de la Secretaría del Trabajo y Desarrollo Social (STDS).
El Secretario, precisó que respecto al mes inmediato anterior la entidad logró avanzar dos puestos en su posición nacional en lo referente al comportamiento de creación de empleos, ya que en abril se ubicó en el sexto lugar sexto, además en cifras porcentuales avanzó en 5.3 puntos, al pasar del 3.4 registrado en abril al 8.7 por ciento en mayo; asimismo se registra un incremento promedio anual acumulado del 4.2 por ciento, el quinto más alto del país y que da cuenta que derivado de la reactivación económica la recuperación de empleos avanza en positivamente.
De esta forma se tiene que desde junio del año pasado cuando se dio el reinicio de las actividades productivas tras el primer impacto del COVID 19 y que se reflejó en la pérdida de 20 mil empleos, se han creado 11 528 nuevos puestos de trabajo, es decir al mes de mayo se han recuperado el 57.6 por ciento de los empleos perdidos.
En este sentido, el Secretario Tomas Flores reiteró que se estima que esta tendencia se mantendrá, ya que tan solo durante los tres últimos meses se han creado 9 mil 562 nuevos empleos, sin embargo para sostenerla en términos positivos y favorables para la economía de las familias sudcalifornianas, se requiere fortalecer el compromiso y responsabilidad del sector empresarial y de la sociedad en su conjunto, por ello exhortó a continuar siguiendo las indicaciones del Comité Estatal de Seguridad en Salud, para evitar la propagación de los contagios por COVID 19 y de esta forma continúe la recuperación de los empleos.
